iCoat Fast Set Epoxy (1:1 ratio)
Updated: May 17

iCoat Fast Set epoxy, is predominately used for projects that require a fast-setting epoxy. It can be used on base layer of items, to assist as primer to tack down items such as for glitter coats on tumblers or panels, also to help tack embellishments like vinyl clip art, or any items you want set in place prior to pouring resin.
This iCoat Fast Set tacks in less than an hour of applying.
iCoat Fast Set is also used for sealing the interior edges of river tables to prevent outgassing (while priming the wood to prepare for river table style casting and pours).
Fast setting epoxies are more susceptible to ambering, so should not be used for topcoating purposes. Only use on a base or underneath items as it is not designed for topcoat applications.
If using on a vertical surface (such as shorter sides or sidewall), brush the Fast Set on, wait 5 minutes, brush another layer on, wait 5 mintues, then follow with applying your embellishment (such as flakes, sand or glitter).
Note as a fast set, it will gel up and cure fast if left sitting in a cup. You need to work quickly, and make in small batches to work with as you go along your pieces.
Available in 64 oz and 32oz kit sizes.
